MSME Africa: Opportunities for Startups, Nonprofits, and Higher Education (2026)

Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV) is now accepting applications for its 2026 accelerator cycle. This program provides early-stage startups and nonprofit organizations with access to capital, mentorship, networks, and strategic support to scale solutions that advance inclusion, sustainability, and social impact globally. The application deadline is March 31, 2026. The MSISV Accelerator is a flagship program by Morgan Stanley, a global financial firm, that supports visionary early-stage startups and nonprofit organizations focused on solutions that contribute to inclusion and sustainability. These solutions encompass efforts related to the environment, health, economic empowerment, and education. MSISV combines capital, mentoring, and ecosystem access to help selected ventures grow, innovate, and connect with investors and industry leaders. The program offers equity investment or grant support for selected participants, a five-month curated accelerator program with mentorship and expert coaching, networking opportunities with Morgan Stanley advisors, industry experts, and investors, access to broader investor and partner ecosystems, and dedicated workspace and tailored growth resources. MSISV is open to two types of organizations: for-profit startups and nonprofit organizations. For-profit startups should be early-stage, scalable ventures with products or services in the market, focused on measurable impact related to environment, health & wellbeing, economic empowerment, education, or related themes, typically at pre-seed to Series A funding stages. Nonprofit organizations should be social impact organizations with sustainable business plans and measurable outcomes, with legal status equivalent to 501(c)(3) or recognized international nonprofit certification, focused on solutions that address pressing societal or environmental needs. Selected participants will benefit from mentorship from industry leaders and entrepreneurs-in-residence, curated skill-building and strategic growth sessions, access to Morgan Stanley’s global expert networks, and opportunities to present at investor showcases and demo events. MSISV supports ventures and nonprofits working on climate & environment, health & wellbeing, economic empowerment, and education & human capital. To apply, visit the MSISV program page, select the appropriate application pathway for startups or nonprofits, complete and submit the online application before March 31, 2026, and include relevant organizational details, business model, impact evidence, and growth plans.
