The NSAI's annual member awards ceremony was a star-studded affair, celebrating the achievements of its members and industry supporters. The event, held at 3rd and Lindsley Nashville, showcased the talent and dedication of those in the music industry.
One of the highlights of the evening was the performance by NSAI Board Member and songwriter Lydia Vaughan, who shared a few songs and words of inspiration with the audience. The Ones To Watch Award was presented to Dewey Longuski, who has been making waves in the industry. Megan Kelley took home the Bob Kingsley Top 40 Award for her impressive song placements on Bob Kingsley’s NSAI Top 40 lists in 2025. Longtime NSAI member Jonathan Olivares was honored with the Volunteer Award, recognizing his dedication and support to the organization.
The Friend of NSAI Award recipients were also celebrated with special performances. Brooke Hatala surprised Ralston Wells with a performance, Adam Epstein was honored with a song by hit songwriter Victoria Shaw, and Julia Keefe, Partner, Edgehill Music Publishing, was honored with a performance by Willie Morrison. These awards highlight the contributions of individuals who have gone above and beyond to support the NSAI.
The Milestone Awards were presented to Gabe Walsh, Jacob Rice, Abbey Rowe, Philip Morgan, and Jessie Brackin, recognizing their significant achievements and impact on the industry. Carl Slack was given the Online Pitch award, Bella Garland nabbed the Mentor Award, and Bryan Mitschell took home the Online Song Feedback Award. These awards showcase the diverse talents and contributions of NSAI members.
The event also recognized the winners of various competitions and challenges, including the Grand Prize winners of the 25th annual NSAI Song Contest, Sharon O’Donnell and Josie Bisto, the NSAI’s 2025 Chapter Challenge winners, James Maltese and Jake Arthur, and the latest recipient of the Todd Givens Memorial Scholarship, Grayson May. These awards highlight the creativity and talent of NSAI members and their commitment to the industry.
To close out the event, James Maltese's song “Grass Roots” was named Song of the Year. This award recognizes the song that has made the most impact and resonated with the audience. The ceremony concluded with a sense of celebration and gratitude, as the NSAI community came together to honor its members and industry supporters.
